05 - THE MATCHA RITUAL

There is something calming about making matcha.

The quiet sound of the whisk against the bowl. The warmth of the ceramic in your hands. The small movement of the whisk as the matcha slowly turns smooth and creamy.

It doesn’t take long.

A little powder, some water, a few minutes of attention — and suddenly the morning feels a little slower.

Perhaps that’s what makes these small rituals so special. They don’t need to be complicated or perfectly planned. They simply give us a reason to pause.

A favourite bowl can become part of that ritual, too.

Used again and again, it slowly becomes familiar. Maybe there are small changes in the glaze, a little trace of use, a place you naturally hold it.

Nothing complicated.

Just a few quiet minutes to slow down and be present.
